25 years ago I attended my first ISPO ...

Fame glory and money was for everyone, companies were looking big and startups where like magic mushrooms ...

Ha the good old days !
Some would say «it was better in the old days» ! Yeah but old days won't come back dudes !

Many are wondering, shall we come back again ? well to me things are clear. In a international crisis environment with pinnacle retailers as Sport Scheck (former biggest German and European sport retailer) filing for Bankruptcy, the sports industry had to re-invent itself ... and ISPO is leading a way that resonates! 

An amazing energy gathering, wonderful people from around the world, people of the future talking about collaboration and cooperation, focus on environmental concerns and sharing best practice to face on going challenges, all present at ISPO and on the other side, those large individualist global business that quitted the boat on the principal of self-success, competition and profit. Everybody has an opinion ... But you know what ... chainpurdesign were there again !

We've been doing technical bags for brands around the world for more then 17 years, this product is the paradigm of our knowledges, matching the ambitions of ARVA brand, their know-how on Airbag System and our creativity and skills where we implemented smart technical solutions to deliver a «one of the kind» lightweight Airbag Backpack.

This running pack is full of CHAINPURDESIGN smart features among the best we can list few main :

- S Café, an innovative eco-friendly S-Café fabric lamintaed on EVA foam for an amazing comfortable, antiweaking and anti-odor backpanel.

At chainpurdesign we believe in green innovation and we support green initiative as much as we can so we decided to try out the S-Café fabric for a new running pack project. S-Café is a kintted fabric made with PET and recycled coffee ground. 

Thanks to Singtex for this amazing fabric, anti weaking, anti-odor and offering UV protection ... 

Tne fabric is so amazing that we developped an EVA + Scafé laminated running backpanel for a new unique generation of running pack ... the FITLY project.

At last you can use coffee without moderation ... 

Cradle to Cradle ? ...  Yes Dude a concrete way to switch all together from linear way to design stuff, where we basically Take, Make, Dispose, to a real circular way, where waste is not included.

Let's be honest for a sec ... we do things the bad way, but we can do better, just have a look at Nature, how it designs things ... then let's get humble and go back to work.

A condensed and optimized pack fully equiped with an uncomparable carrying confort and plenty of room inside a compact shape, all included for less then 2 Kg ... a new standard has just be set and it looks like it deserves an Award !

The BIGPACK LITE PRO 30, imagined, designed and developped by chainpurdesign has been elected "GEAR OF THE YEAR 2016" by the notorious OUTSIDE MAGAZINE in China ! 

The brand used the Ultra-Light / Ultra-Strong concept as the main communication direction for 2016. It was the Highlight of the first ever ISPO Shanghai last August where BIGPACK team did a super great job to introduce this concept ! I guess they were right !

The first ever ISPO in Shanghai has been the theatre of the Bigpack Lite Pro Series Released. The brand focused its communication and presentation based on chainpurdeign concept and design ! What a great launch after such a great development time  and numerous field tests by Yann Delevaux in Chamonix and a Pole expedition ... it is said that visitors appreciated and among them, experience Klaus Dittrich CEO of Messe Munchen and Tobias Gröber who enjoyed both concept and way to introduce it on Bigpack booth.

Back to Vietnam after a full skiing season in the French alps ! one of best ever there ... terrific snow conditions !

VFC company (Eagle Creek, Vans, The North Face, Timberland, Eastpak, Napapijri, Reef and other international brands) through its VF International subsidiary based in Switzerland, has just selected chainpurdesign to handle the development in Vietnam of The North Face / SNGM technical mountain guide packs series after the signature of a 3 years partnership with the French National Guide Association "SNGM". Two packs will be released according to french guides requirement, one technical day ski trip and one alpinisme pack. Check this out on French Mountain Guides back from this winter !
