Léo Lacroix, former french ski team member, created Skis Lacroix in 1967. 40 years later, the French brand, re-launched in 1998 by Bertrand Roy, offers sports and up-market skis and luxury accessories like bags, gloves and winter shoes.
We met Bertrand Roy (CEO) at the ISPO Winter fair in 2006. We proposed him to create a range of bags and accessories to enlarge the Lacroix product range.
With Laurent Masoero , brand Art Director, we have worked to create an up-market leither bags.
A complet and fascinating project from the first drawing to production.
« The work with Chainpur Design got organized in round trips between chainpur design, Bertrand Roy (DG) and myself.
Some proposals of chainpur design, which went slitly out of the brief, seduced us and we decided to go ahead on their creative tracks. In a second time, I have changed some details to make it match with the other Lacroix items. Chainpur design then made the sourcing, the development follow-up and production.
At the end, the 08 collection of Lacroix leather accessories is a perfect example of a good synergy beetween creatives: a mixture of opening and precision, centrings and overflowing, imagination and realism. »
